Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we elucidated the optimal pH and temperature, as well as the sensitivity to different types and concentrations of surfactants and organic solvents, of a novel high-functionality lipase derived from the basidiomycete Phlebiopsis gigantea. Furthermore, we measured the activity towards pNP model substrates with varying lengths of fatty acid carbon chains, revealing substrate specificity. Detailed analysis revealed the high degradability of the enzyme toward one of bioplastics. Additionally, large scale acquisition of the enzyme was achieved by investigating lipase production and purification conditions.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
