Principal Investigator

Norihisa Matsuura

Project Period (FY) 2022-06-30 – 2024-03-31
Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, we developed internal standard genes to quantify both the 16S rRNA gene and functional genes. The quantitative sequencing using these developed internal standards was evaluated through a mock community experiment. We subsequently applied this technique to environmental samples, enabling the quantification and phylogenetic analysis of methanotrophs.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
