Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Focusing on the view of life and death in the French Romantic period, this study aimed to recapture the cultural and ideological background that formed the basis for the growing interest in supernatural phenomena and exploration of the spiritual world in the late 19th century. Through analysis of literary works and contemporary commentary, we have sought to clarify the continuity and development between the ideas of the Romantic period and the literature and thought of the Second Empire. We were able to publish our findings in the form of presentations at international symposiums and articles.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
