2023年度は出雲神話に対して「間テクスト性」の側から考察を行ってきた。11月にドイツのチュービンゲン大学で開催された国際シンポジウム「Japan's Imperial Mythology; De/Sacralization in the Context of Exegesis, Politics and Folklore」で「The Emperors in the Kojiki: In the Context of their Relationships with the Local Deities(英語)」と題した発表を行った。本発表では、垂仁天皇と出雲大神の関りを『古事記』と『日本書紀』の記述から分析した。本発表の内容は2024年度中にシンポジウム報告書に掲載される予定である。
さらに、出雲国造とその祭祀へのかかわりを『出雲国風土記』および「出雲国造神賀詞」の分析を通して検証した。日本文学協会第42回研究発表大会において「出雲国造神賀詞における「奏し賜はくと奏す」について」と題した発表を行い、「神賀詞」にみる多声性について検証した。続いて、カフォスカリ大学（ベネチア、イタリア）で開催された国際会議「Ca Foscari Dialogs on Japanese Premodern Literature: Literature as Ritual in Japan」では「The words of ritual - the Shinto liturgy of the Izumo high priest儀礼の言葉―出雲国造神賀詞奏上儀礼（英語）」と題した発表を行った。発表では出雲国造神賀詞の儀礼としての諸相を『出雲国風土記』の記述からとらえた上で、出雲国造がいかに祭神オホナムチの神格を変貌させたのかを明らかにした。
