Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The objective of this research was to derive new interpretations and methods for the Izumo Fudoki from the perspective of intertextuality. Through a comprehensive literature survey, field research, collection, and deciphering of materials on this subject, we were able to present our findings as follows: two presentations were made at academic conferences in Japan, two presentations were made at international conferences, and one article was published in an academic journal. This has provided a new perspective on the Izumo Fudoki, based on the introduction of the method of intertextuality. Furthermore, through presentations at international conferences, we were able to demonstrate the importance of Izumo Fudoki's research in the field of ancient Japanese literature from an international perspective.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
