Outline of Final Research Achievements

As a result of the research, it has been decided to publish a book around August 2024. This book is centered on the results of the voter survey conducted in 2022 and the Osaka Prefectural Governor election survey in 2023, which were undertaken as part of the this grant project. It aims to clarify the reality of political communication on the internet based on data. Including survey results from the House of Representatives election in 2021 and the House of Councillors election in 2022, which were conducted before the grant, the book reveals what kind of political communication took place online and who was involved in such communication. Building on the academic accumulation regarding public opinion, it discusses how we should engage with "internet public opinion."

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
