Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The aim of this study was to examine the problems faced by very long-term evacuees after the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident, both evacuees and supporters, and to capture the outline of the damage caused by the nuclear accident. As a result, three points became clear. First,it was found that from the examples of support activities conducted for more than 10 years in the areas that hosted evacuees, these have functioned as a place to receive life issues specific to evacuation from the nuclear acciden.Secound, especially in areas where forced evacuation continues, there are problems in rebuilding relationships with the source area and damage caused by loss of hometowns. Third, an examination of sociological theory revealed that when examining the problems in displacement due to disasters and nuclear accidents, it is necessary to focus not only on social relations but also on the relationship between people and the land.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
