Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study examines recent trends in the dual enrollment (DE) and Early College High Schools (ECHS), which are characterized by high school curricula that prioritize DE. The focus is on understanding the educational effects of these programs, particularly in fostering college readiness. Regarding the development of college readiness through DE and ECHS, it is hypothesized that students participating in DE experience "anticipatory socialization" through the "authentic experiences" provided in actual college environments. This process integrates their self-identity with the imminent role of being a college student, ultimately fostering college readiness.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
