Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study examined the relationship between career maturity and time perspective in women's university students aspiring to become childcare workers and teachers. The results showed that a positive attitude towards the future and continuity between the present and the future influence career maturity. New childcare workers and teachers experienced physical and mental reactions due to the heavy workload, which led to an increased negative attitude towards the present. A lack of ability caused psychological reactions and they lost sight of and hope for the future. Role-lettering was found to be an effective support method for expanding time perspectives, which tend to be biased towards the present, to the past and future, and promoting career development. It was shown that holding parent-child classes improved the expertise of childcare workers.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
