| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study examines the pedagogical methodology within Shuichi Katsuta’s educational philosophy. Specifically, two primary tasks were undertaken. First, we traced the historical evolution of concepts pertaining to subject teaching and early childhood education theory within Katsuta’s educational philosophy. Second, we organized the relevant materials required to clarify such philosophy.
The findings revealed that Katsuta’s pedagogical methodology is fundamentally centered around the concept of human relationships. Moreover, by systematically examining the relevant materials, we were able to gain insights that can aid in understanding such philosophy.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
先行研究において、勝田は「系統的に構想された科学的な教育内容」を教えようとしてきた人物として位置づけられてきた。一方の本研究は、勝田が「集団」概念にも着目する人物であることを明らかにした。すなわち、本研究は、教育の前提には集団が存在することの原理的意義を改めて提示する点に学術的意義がある。
昨今、学校教育に対して、「個別最適な学びと協働的な学びの一体的な充実」が求められている。そのなかで、本研究は「協働的な学び」をより推進していく必要性を原理的に提示する点に社会的意義がある。
