Outline of Final Research Achievements

Clinical studies were published using real-world data. An analysis using insurance databases showed that a history of benign prostatic hyperplasia and cancer was associated with a higher risk of cardiovascular disease. A pharmacoepidemiological study showed that SGLT2 inhibitors may reduce the incidence of hypertension and kidney dysfunction. A health economic study showed that lifestyle interventions for individuals with diabetes are cost-effective.
