Outline of Annual Research Achievements

昨年度までに開発した2つの光周波数コムに対して、増幅器の最適化によって高出力化に取り組んだ。その結果、増幅後の平均パワーを、ワットレベルに増強することに成功した。
次に、高非線形ファイバーを用いて、光スペクトルを1μm ~1.8μmの波長範囲に広帯域化を行った。さらに、この近赤外領域の広帯域光をもとに、パルス内差周波数発生過程によって中赤外領域(3μm ~ 5μm)の広帯域光を発生できた。同時に、この近赤外広帯域光を用いて、非線形光学結晶による第二高調波発生過程によって、広帯域な可視領域(550 nm~900 nm)への変換にも成功した。
最後に、2つの周波数コムを用いてデュアルコム分光実験を行った。2つの同一の可視光周波数コムを光源として波長700 nmから800 nmにわたる広帯域で実証した。その結果、十分な信号対雑音比を有する干渉縞の取得に成功した。
以上によって、本光源の広帯域、高いコヒーレンスを実証し、可視域、近赤外域、および、中赤外域にわたる、多彩な波長域のデュアルコム分光光源としての有用性を示し、本研究の目標を達成した。
