Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
One of this research objectives is to manage each green pepper plant based on the images of a fruit grading system in order to reduce the large amount of fertilizers and chemicals in the conventional agriculture. If the images from the grading system were matched with images from fruit growth monitoring device in the field, we can know where the fruits came from in the field, which makes the precision agriculture and smart agriculture, because data of fruit quality and size are obtained from the grading system. We developed a software to match the images acquired at grading system and in the field by using both color and fluorescent images and continued to improve its success rate for matching images.
