Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In this fiscal year, the fellow actively worked on his research project and made outstanding progress. During this year, a review article on control theory for microscopic swimming has been published, marking a significant contribution to this field and the maturity of the research project. An in-depth investigation of generalized Jeffery orbits has been conducted with collaborators in the UK, and published as a two-part study. The cutting-edge research on 'odd elastohydrodynamics’ as a description of swimmer activity yielded a publication which attracted significant attention from the scientific community (invited talk at APS March meeting) and the general public. Results were disseminated at several international conferences along with numerous visits and seminars to labs around Japan to consolidate the fellow’s network before his return to France.
