Outline of Annual Research Achievements

The JSPS fellow mentored two PhD students in Prof. Qi’s lab and together they have worked on several projects. One scientific paper has been submitted to a high impact factor journal, in which it is explained how to deposit a common hole transporting material used in p-i-n perovskite solar cells (2PACz) with alternative methods, for the fabrication of solar cells with small and large area. The characterization of the material and in particular, the determination of its thickness which was never presented in the literature before is shown. The second project, which will be submitted very soon to a high impact factor journal, focuses on understanding the chemical mechanism between the perovskite layer and a common additive that is used in perovskite solar cells, phenetylammonium salt.
