Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
During this fiscal year, I focused on two main research activities:
(1) Advancing my knowledge: My research field requires advanced mathematics beyond what is typically used in other areas of physics, and the field is rapidly evolving with many new results each year. As such, I dedicated much of my time to studying the necessary mathematics and keeping up with cutting-edge research worldwide.
(2) Conducting research as a visiting scholar: Academic communication has been challenging due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To circumvent this obstacle, I spent several months as a visiting researcher at the Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics (YITP), where I had many productive discussions with fellow researchers. I believe that these interactions will greatly benefit my research.

3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I have made efforts to continue accumulating knowledge and maintaining communication, which I believe will serve as a solid foundation for future progress in my research. Although my research progress has been impeded by the pandemic, I am confident that the skills and knowledge I have gained during this time will prove valuable in the long term.
