Superflares investigated with spectroscopic observations and their effects on planetary habitability

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

米国AP天文台3.5m望遠鏡、岡山天文台3.8mなどの地上望遠鏡、さらにTESS衛星やX線観測装置NICERやXMM-Newton衛星で取得された、スーパーフレアを頻発する星の多波長連携観測データについての解析を進めた。特に、スーパーフレアに伴うプラズマ噴出や彩層放射の規模や時間発展について探査した。この観測研究の過程においては、観測データの輻射流体力学的な解釈や米国望遠鏡を用いた観測研究の推進のため、コロラド大学に長期滞在してAdam Kowalski氏他と共同研究を実施した。共著論文が3編出版された他、主著論文と共著論文を1編投稿した(前者は査読コメント対応中, 後者は2023年4月に受理)。また、岡山188cm望遠鏡/HIDESやすばる望遠鏡IRD等でこれまでに長期モニタ観測された, 活動的なF, G, K, M型星のデータを用いて、黒点や彩層放射の長期変化を調べる研究も、受入研究者の佐藤氏及び大学院生とともに共同で推進し、共著論文が1編出版された他、博士/修士論文として成果がまとめられた。 また、恒星EUV推定に向けた太陽データの活用 (2編の共著論文が出版)や、惑星分野との連携に向けた研究の検討など、分野連携に向けた検討/研究も大きく進めることができた。
