This year, the developed coherently synthesized two-color EO comb was applied to absolute distance measurement. A synthetic wavelength of 120 micrometer is constructed by the two center wavelengths of the two-color EO comb. Through combining synthetic wavelength interferometry, single wavelength interferometry and microwave phase detection, absolute distance measurement with nm resolution is achieved. The non-ambiguity range is 3mm. The update rate is 1000 Hz. In conclusion, I could achieve my research objective to develop high-accuracy and high-speed distance measurement technique using the novel two-color EO comb.
