Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は,銀河系円盤部に存在する中温ガス(温度~1万K, Warm Medium)や低温ガス(温度~100K, Cold Medium)から分子雲(温度~10K)が形成され,その中の高密度領域(分子雲コア)で星が形成される過程について,第一原理に基づく首尾一貫した理論を完成させる.特に,以下の3つの「星形成の未解決問題」を解明する.(A)いつどのようにして重力収縮は始まるのか?(B)どのような星周円盤が形成され進化するのか?大質量星の形成は円盤降着で理解できるのか?(C)星周円盤においてどのような巨大ガス惑星が形成され,生き残るのか?
課題(A)に関しては,星形成の前段階である分子雲形成段階についての詳しい研究を継続して行った.特に,温度数千度の低密度ガスから低温高密度ガスが形成される相転移に伴い発生する乱流について詳しい解析を行った(Iwasaki & Inutsuka 2014等).
課題(B)に関しては,現実的な輻射輸送を取り入れた原始惑星系円盤形成過程の研究を行った(Tsukamoto et al. 2014等).また,原始惑星系円盤における永年不安定性の研究を行い,ある一定の条件のもとで円盤中に複数のリング構造が形成されることを予言し,新しい惑星形成過程の可能性を提案した(Takahashi & Inutsuka 2014).その後ALMA電波干渉計により発見された円盤中の多数の縞々構造の研究につながっている.
課題(C)については,形成直後の原始惑星系円盤で生まれた褐色矮星やガス惑星の進化を調べるための新しい輻射輸送計算法の開発が進んだ.

Reason

原始惑星系円盤の形成過程を詳しく調べ,過去の研究の不十分な点を明らかにした.
長期的な円盤進化に重要な磁気乱流について調べるための円盤の大局的な計算を発表できた.
永年重力不安定性により円盤上に多数の縞々構造が生まれ微惑星形成及びデブリ円盤への進化につながる可能性を示した.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

2014年度に発表した永年重力不安定性(Takahashi & Inutsuka 2014)とALMAにより発見されたHL-Tau等の縞々構造の関係をさらに詳しく調べ,新しい微惑星形成シナリオの可能性を探る.特に非線形進化過程を解明する.
