Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We develop an ultra low noise muography system composed of multilayer muon sensors and plumb layers. The resultant muography data are combined with surface gravity anomaly to estimate internal 3D density structure with high spatial resolution. We carried out continuous gravity observation at Sakurajima volcano whose geometry of a conduit is well known. We clearly observed excellent correlation between gravity and explosion activity there.
