Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to investigate the basic principles of establishing teachers’ standards in order to guarantee the quality of profession from a view point of continuing professional development. For this purpose, we employed both theoretical and empirical approaches. As a result, in European and American countries and also Asian countries, Pedagogical Content Knowledge has been regarded as one of important knowledge of teaching profession both pre- and in- service science teacher education, and pre-service teacher education should be placed as an introduction of continuing professional development.
