Outline of Final Research Achievements |
New MicroPattern Gaseous Detectors have been developed for particle experiments operating under intense hadron collider in future date. The spark rate of the Micro Pixel Chamber with fast neutron has been suppressed more than 3 order using resistive material on electrodes. Also resistive electrodes for MicroMEGAS with large size (up to 2 m x 50 cm) and fine structure (line pitch of 0.4mm) has been successfully produced. As results of those researches, our detector technology is adopted for LHC upgrade in ATLAS experiment.
