Outline of Final Research Achievements

We established analysis techniques of triggered data sets for hard scattering p+p and A+A collision events at the LHC. We led neutral meson measurements via photons and physics discussions via comparison with QCD calculations.
A hotter, larger, and longer-lived partonic fireball is created in A+A collisions at 14 times higher energy than at RHIC. We found hard scattering probes useful for precise measurements in addition to discovery of new phenomena, utilizing event selection triggers with high transverse momentum photons. The importance of selective measurements of hard scattering events at the LHC energies has been demonstrated.
