Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study established novel pathways of brassinosteroid (BR) biosynthesis as well as main paths leading to biologically active BRs. Analyses of BR dwarf mutants revealed that some acyltransferases play important roles in regulating BR levels. Inhibitor of BIN2, a negative regulator in BR signaling, was found to reduce endogenous BR levels.
