Research Abstract |
To elucidate superior key molecules on the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), we comprehensively analyzed peripheral blood gene expression in RA patients by DNA microarray. We confirmed characteristic changes of gene expression in RA and identified Family with sequence similarity 20, member A (FAM20A) as a most related gene with disease activity. It was confirmed this could reflect drug effects. Further optimization and contribution to the pathogenesis should be investigated.
