Research Abstract |
Conventional angiography can not visualize arterioles with a diameter range of 20-200 micrometer. In other words the conventional system is not appropriate to evaluate cerebral perforating arterie (diameter of 50-300 micrometer) in clinical settings or pathophysiology of arterioles in animal experiments. In the present study, we developed a rotating cerium-anode- microangiographic system as a in-hospital use and synchrotron radiation microangiogrphy for evaluation of pathophysiology of arteiores in animal experiments.
