Research Abstract

今年度は、分析を進めることと執筆、学会での発表に集中した。フィリピンの中部から南部にかけて収集した、Colocasia esculenta(29サンプル)の葉緑体の5つの遺伝子座と、Alocasia macrorrhizos(15サンプル)の葉緑体の3つの遺伝子座の配列に関する新しいデータを得ることができた。データの分析は現在も進行中である。このプロジェクトの主たる成果として、第11回国際サトイモ科植物学会をハノイで開催した(学会発表を参照)。今年度末に出版した『On the Trail of Taro』にもこのプロジェクトにより行われた研究を紹介した。
