| Research Abstract |
After obtaining permission to observe an international training programme for trainees from various Asian countries run by a Japanese NGO, audio-recordings of interactions (mainly in English) totalling 7 hour 20 minutes were made in 6 visits over 5 weeks, and to date 50 minutes are transcribed and analysed.
Preliminary results have been presented at the 3rd Waseda ELF International Workshop, with the working paper to be published in June 2014.
日本のNGOが運営したアジアの諸国から来た研修生のための国際研修プログラムを見学する許可を得て、５週間の間の６回の見学をわたって７時間２０分の分の対話（主に英語）を録音できて、今年５月中旬まで５０分の分を転写・分析が終わった。
予備的の結果を第三早稲田ELF国際ワークショップで発表して、そのワーキング・ペーパーを２０１４年６月に出版の予定。

Reason
録音させてくれた組織や参加者の中にアジア人が少なかったため、香港教育大学に中心したACE(Asian Corpus of English)というプロジェクトの助力を延長して、新たに見学・録音させてくれる組織を捜した。上記のNGOからの許可が出たら、データ収集の仕事を９月に始められた。今年度まで、録音したデータを１５％ぐらい転写・分析したところです。
