Outline of Final Research Achievements

In Japan non-major courses are important for university foreign language education, including that for Russian. However, non-major courses can provide few lessons for learning the language, so students need to learn it autonomously, and a standard for evaluating acquisition needs to be provided to them for use as a road map. To prepare for this, we have reconsidered Russian educational grammar, and the educational profiles of non-major courses on Russian. Additionally, we have identified issues related to problems concerning “realia” in the education of Russian.
