Research Abstract |
This study clarified the political ability of the Japanese early modern wealthy person from a viewpoint called acquaintances, information, the trust. The study used a letter of the Kumagais who was a merchant of Iwami National University Mori-machi where a government office of the Shogunate was put (Oda-shi, Shimane). It is three points of the next to have clarified. The first point clarified acquaintances, and the actual situation of the mail. The second point clarified that the intelligence network supported development and stability of the above-mentioned family with the acquaintances whom the Kumagais built in the 19th century. In the third point, the acquaintances clarified that they made ends meet by the relationship of mutual trust with an individual and an individual, a house and the house.
