| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The aim of this research is to define the intentions and measures for pursuing the EU environmental leadership, and to examine its results and problems in the formation of international environmental regimes. Some cases taken here had resulted in the EU's failure due to issues on the EU internal politics, the EU institutions and the EU declining influence in the changing international context. The EU was therefore required to another strategy for environmental ledership in the new negotiation environment.
