| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The objects of this research are the analysis about the economic development by Japanese Government for Okinawa from the time of reversion of Okinawa to Japan and the analysis about endogenous development in several places in Okinawa.The result of former analysis about economic development in Okinawa is the clarification about the reasons why the economic development plan has not achieved the object of it .Especially this research has clarified that the most important reason of failure of this plan is the linkage of economic development plan and the enforcement of US military bases to Okinawa,it is called as “carrot and stick"policy. The result of latter analysis about the endogenous development in Okinawa is the analysis about the reasons why endogenous development based on "anti disparity theory"of Nago city has been reevaluated recently.And this research had proposed the policy for endogenous development of Okinawa.
