Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study intended to explore the historical perspectives of the child-policy in the Welfare States in the present through elucidating social development of the ideas of children and childhood which supported a child-welfare policy for the nascent ages of the Modern Welfare States of the West in the modern history and pushed forward values in educational thoughts. As the result, ideas of childhood which gave diverse influences to establishment of the European and American Welfare States, for example, the childhood of the original sin, ideas of the rationalistic childhood, ideas of the sensualistic childhood, ideas of the Romantic childhood formed multilayer social history, and elucidated the ideas of scientific developmental childhood and social and cultural constructural childhood have influenced the child-policy of the Welfare States, and gathered them up an article in "Vicissitudes of Children and Childhood in the Social History of Education and Welfare of the West".
