| Research Abstract |
Concerning the cultivation of "Competence to think and decide" in German school music education could be mentioned as following;
1."Competence to think and decide" is constructed with "Competence to perceive and sense" and "Competence to express and form". "Competence to think and decide" ranks as the highest of the three. 2.Despite some similarities to Japan, the teaching contents for "Competence to think and decide" in Germany has much more expanse and requires incomparably high-level knowledge and capability. 3.Abitur(the university entrance qualification test) works effectively to develop "Competence to think and decide" and to build the curriculum.
