Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study clarified the need to acquire the logical thinking abilities to act themselves where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities get involved in life-long learning, and the need to include contents of “communication skill” “self-managing” in the future for making a difference contents of learning and learning needs of them. In “Open College Tokyo” we developed the life-long learning support program. This program are intended to acquire the logical thinking abilities Through applying this program, the learner with intellectual and developmental disabilities addressed challenges properly, and, after this program was over, the learners were promoted to acquire the logical thinking abilities. But, we couldn’t develop the model of general “life-long learning support system” because of paucity to apply this program. In the future, we will apply this program include contents of “Marriage” “Geography” “Self-Realization”continually.
