Research Abstract |
Chiral phosphine ligands have been playing a significant role in both steric and electronic adjustment of transition metal-catalyzed reactions. We developed the novel ligand bearing BFPy groups, which showed highly electron-poor nature surpassing that of C6F5-containing phosphine ligand. The BFPy phosphine ligand accelerated the Rh and Pd-catalyzed reactions including asymmetric catalytic reactions. The catalytic activities exceeded the authentic catalytic reactions.
