Outline of Final Research Achievements

Novel vinly ether-based polymers having functional groups of succinic imide structures, and carbosilane-based polymers having functional groups of 5-membered cyclic carbonate structures, were synthesized, and their characteristic properties were investigated in detail by addting lithium salts or by gel formation with liquid electrolytes for lithium ion batteries. As a result, it was found that polycarbosilanes having 5-membered cyclic carbonate groups showed remarkably high ionic conductivity at high added lithium ion conctents.
