Research Abstract

Besides the previous report that Lipocaline-2 (Lcn2) expression occurs in the early stage of pancreatic cancer (PaCa) development, our results revealed that the overexpression of Lcn2 blocks invasion and angiogenesis of PaCa. So Lcn2 may be not only an early biomarker in PaCa but also a novel suppressor of PaCa angiogenesis.
