Research Abstract |
For ten clinical nurses of the second year to work in the general hospital, I performed a semiconstitutive interview of around one hour and clarified a learning experience of the first year. I classified into six categories regarding of difficulties for novice nurses.Difficulties for novice nurses:(Negative strokes by senior nurses)(Implicitrules on the work)(Self-reproach when incidents happen)(Pressure about time)(One-way instruction by senior nurses) I classified into eight categories about factors supporting novice nurses.Factors supporting novice nurses:(Learning from the role models)(Practice of their ideal nursing)(Sense of being a helpful nurse in their ward)(Positive responses from patients)(Good human relationships in their ward)(Contemporaries as supporting fellow)(Senior nurses who have concern for them)(Sense of independence)
