Research Abstract |
De-escalation technique is important for psychiatric nursing during aggressive behavior. This study aimed to make clear strategies of de-escalation technique. First,we peformed questionnarie survey for 215 psychiatric nurses. We asked about failure cases during de-escalation. Next, situation that often happen inpsychiatric settings played by roll-play and got comment by expert nurses about de-escalation. As a result, it is important that "pay attention to the risks","intervene not coerce patient" and so on.
