| Research Abstract |
It is an important issue how to design open and semi-natural space in urban area for urban biodiversity and ecological education. Because there has been rapid decrease in the amount of open or natural space in especially in urban area in Japan due to the development of housing area.
And it was proposed that the new way of using and creating urban open spaces for children's play and ecological education that can simultaneously form part of an ecological network in an urban area.
The children have also actively participated in the development workshops in accessible environment and have proposed their own ideas for the management of that place. Also it was proposed new way of environmental education program in each planning sites.
