Research Abstract |
We detected organophosphorus compound using a planar waveguide sensors doped with green fluorescent proteins. The fluorescent power from the waveguide was reduced to half value within a minute when organophosphorus compound was applied on the waveguide. We also observed antibody-antigen reaction in the sol-gel silica thin-film. These results enabled the biophotonic waveguide sensor doped with living materials.
