Research Abstract |
In this work, we have designed and created synthetic self-localizing ligands that spontaneously localize to specific organelles or membrane regions in living cells. Using the ligands and protein engineering, we have developed a new cell control method that allows conditional induction of protein translocation and cell signaling in mammalian cells.
