Research Abstract |
Through the investigations among countries in Africa, qualitative and quantitative materials on pluralistic medical condition and community health were collected. Indigenous medical knowledge still strongly define people's medical behavior and practice in rural area even though health interventions are conducted by development sectors. among those people living in rural area where modern medicine is a mere component of pluralistic medical environment, ethnographic and qualitative research possibly provide local-folk knowledge for contributing to social development.
