Research Abstract |
A novel monomer, 4,6-dimethoxy 1,3,5-triazin 2-yl xylobioside, was directly synthesized from xylobiose in water. Enzymatic polycondensation of the resulting monomer proceeded by using cellulase preparation or partially purified xylanase as an enzyme.
