Research Abstract |
We demonstrated a technique for reducing the photocurrent noise of fiber laser pulses based on a delay-and-add line. The noise was reduced down to the shot noise level. We then applied this technique to stimulated Raman scattering microscopy which exploits lock-in detection for label-free biological imaging. As a result, we achieved real-time imaging of polymer beads at an imaging speed of 0.4 s/frame.
