Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to develop a simultaneous measurement system for measuring instantaneous three-component velocities and concentration of a reactive scalar in a three-dimensional domain fixed in a turbulent flow by combining a scanning time-resolved particle image velocimetry (PIV) with scanning laser-induced fluorescence technique (LIF). This developed system makes it possible to measure three-component velocities and concentration of a reactive scalar in a three-dimensional domain.
