Research Abstract |
In this study, we have investigated adaptability by coupling adaptation mechanisms with different time scales, by taking decentralized control of an amoeboid robot inspired by true slime mold as a practical example. Simulation results strongly suggest that highly adaptive behavior can be generated via well-balance coupling between two adaptation mechanisms each of which has different time constant.
