Research Abstract |
Hypoxic response is mainly regulated by VHL-PHD-HIF pathway. Systemically activating HIF in mice clearly shows blood sugar lowering effect and upregulated insulin sensitivity. Our result would highlight on a new concept of type-II diabetes treatment which target hypoxic response pathway.
