Research Abstract |
Although fibroblasts are activated in many inflammatory diseases, they are rarely targeted in treatment. The present studies were carried out to disclose pathological roles in inflammatory diseases. An isolation method of pathological fibroblasts has been established for analyses in arthritic diseases. Studies of regeneration processes involved in myositis revealed that chemokines are produced by mesenchymal cells.
